THE JOURNEY GOES ON A VOCATION!

For my precious followers, ı am here to announce a piece of sad information...
 
as you can understand from the title,  this post is, not an ending but a break, post.
In this post, i want to mention the experiences i had in the Current Issues in Teaching course.

1) One of the strengths of this course is obviously the teacher Mustafa Polat's great effort. Without his effort, we wouldn't have had the experience of this lesson from the beginning. 
other than that, i want to mention the projects we did. All of them taught me something new. The only downside I can think of is removing the written exam and turning it into a project.

2) What i found easy in this course was the blog writing part. I can say that when it comes to writing a blog after finishing the main homework makes me feel as soft as a bird. It is easy and fun. Having the feeling of showing your work to others is exciting. Mentioning the difficult parts of this course, i can say that "Creating an instructional video for the flipped instruction " was the hardest one since it required a lot of effort in the recording and video preparation but it was nice and teaching for us to do.

3)My favourite task was creating an AR-VR teaching material task. I love its colours, it's shape and I'm proud of it's teachability to students.
my least favourite task was the Lesson plan using Corpus task. I like the idea but i believe there can be more innovative things to do instead of using Corpus.


4) For the students who will take this course next semester, my recommendation is to be patient. After Mustafa Teacher is done with the mid-terms, you will be introduced to new tasks that will help you understand the concepts better and also they will make you feel proud after you finish each of them.

5) Answering the question of how this course would help my professional development is an easy task. Thanks to this course 8and Canva), i created so many worksheets that i will be using in the future as well. Even if i don't use them, they will help to create new ones.

Prof. Mustafa  Polat. In this course, we learned new ways of using technology for teaching and learning.  Before the class, i had little information on the issue of  technology integration in English language teaching. benefit of AI in Language Learning and Teaching: Doing an interview with Mustafa Kemal Atatürk

        ( Mustafa kemal Atatürk (1932) by: SETA)   In this post,  i will talk about my experience of interviewing with Atatürk. The Reason i chose Atatürk to interview is actually pretty simple. Atatürk is the first person to come to my mind when i think about a historical figure who has greatly impacted history. my questions in the interview were about his ideas about his revolutions, the Ottoman Empire's mistakes in World War 1 and strategies he would have used if he were alive in World War 2. Also,  i asked him about his idealized future for Türkiye as well. He answered my questions through  Magic School's Character Chatbot ,    a website that utilizes various AI features.
