Improving the world-Green Action ( A Podcast)

After creating an infographic about bullying and writing about my experiences of building it on my blog, thanks to the Mustafa teacher, and his teaching of using technology for education,  i am here to write about my experiences of creating a podcast.

 Our Instructional Technologies and Material Design in English Language teacher Mustafa Polat, asked us to create a podcast and gave us 3 options. i have chosen the 2nd option which is to create a 60-second podcast to introduce our ideas to improve the world.

The first and only difficulty i have encountered was the issue of making the podcast exactly 60 seconds. Not a second less, and not a second more. However, after trying for 4 or 5 times, i managed to make it exactly 60 seconds. I have used the website Voki and created a ghost-like creature after searching for what i could use for the picture. wanting our students to fit their ideas in a 60-second voiced message can result in creative ideas.  wanting them to express their beliefs in a real classroom can result in silence since they do not have time to think about their ideas but technologically wanting this giving them enough time to think can be mentioned as an advantage.

Creating AI-Integrated Lesson Materials

Thanks to Our teacher Mustafa Polat and my group ( Muhammed Emir Özbek , Emir Batu Özdemir, and Hüseyin Obut) , i had a chance to use Artificial intelligence to help me with materials.  My group members and I created a material that we wanted students to write about their favourite places they visited. While asking them to do that, we also wanted them to scan the QR code and send their writings to Chat-GPT for their grammar (conjunctions) and writing evaluation. After the evaluation. we asked students to create a revised version of their writings. We wanted them to revise it to a new form with the help of Chat-GPT evaluations and recommendations.  After they had written their revised papers, we asked them some questions that would help them share their experiences with the writings and the help of Chat-GPT. Creating an AR/VR integrated teaching material

Thanks to my teacher Mustafa Polat, we ( Muhammed Emir Özbek , Emir Batu Özdemir, and Hüseyin Obut ) had this great opportunity to use this technology in our ELT lesson.  Exploring AR and VR in language learning opens up exciting possibilities.  While AR is ideal for vocabulary building and basic skills, VR shines in facilitating deeper conversational practice. However, these technologies come with challenges—from cost and technical difficulties to concerns about distraction and isolation.
