TEACHER OF THE YEAR

Prof. Mustafa  Polat. In this course, we learned new ways of using technology for teaching and learning.  Before the class, i had little information on the issue of  technology integration in English language teaching.         ( Mustafa kemal Atatürk (1932) by: SETA)   In this post,  i will talk about my experience of interviewing with Atatürk. The Reason i chose Atatürk to interview is actually pretty simple. Atatürk is the first person to come to my mind when i think about a historical figure who has greatly impacted history. my questions in the interview were about his ideas about his revolutions, the Ottoman Empire's mistakes in World War 1 and strategies he would have used if he were alive in World War 2. Also,  i asked him about his idealized future for Türkiye as well. He answered my questions through  Magic School's Character Chatbot ,    a website that utilizes various AI features.  "HER" MOVIE REVIEW  In this post, i will be sharing my experiences of writing a review for a movie. Our teacher Mustafa Polat asked us to become a group of 3 and write a review for a movie that we chose using Google Docs. After the review, our teacher asked us to make comments on another group's review. Me,  Muhammed Emir Özbek , and Emir Batu özdemir  came together. You can visit their blogs by clicking on their names. For the review, we needed to choose a film. After seeing the new updates of Chat-Gpt 4O, we decided to watch the movie "Her" by Spike Jonze.   Using Google Docs for collaborative tasks was not something i did for the first time so i already knew how to use it. It helped our group to share their ideas and fix other's mistakes easily and the best part of it was we were able to add our work something whenever we wanted.  Our teacher wanted us to create a digital story and gave us 3 different choices. Me and my friend Emir Batu Özdemir decided to create a HOW TO...? video. Since we love eating. we decided to make a pesto pasta recipe.  I recorded myself while making the pesto pasta and after finishing and eating the delicious food, I sent the video to my friend and then he made a voice-over for the video.  Its challenging part was the recording process. i made some mistakes and i  had to re-make the whole process. other parts such as editing and adding voices were really fun.
